Haha... Work has decided to load me up with projects all of a sudden, so I haven't had as much free time

I'm actually getting ready to put the tank to bed, then myself... I have the privelage of heading in to work tomorrow at 4am to oversee a trial in one of the mills.

What type of algae are you feeding him... My PBT only would eat the red algae in the beginning, and wouldn't touch the green stuff. Now of course, the Colonel has rubbed off on him and he stuffs his face with whatever I drop in the tank.

That and I didn't have a very eventful day... I guess I should be thankful for that

I have a shipment from The Filter Guys showing up tomorrow though

I'm going to try out A.J.'s method to disinfect it before I put the new filters in though.

I should call LiveAquaria and let them know. Maybe they'll thank me and send me one for free for pointing it out to them.

I couldn't be happier with this purchase. There are soooooooo many skimmers out there, and everyone has their own opinions about which is best. I was originally looking at the ATI Bubblemasters, when this unit popped onto my radar, and for about half the cost. Apparently they share the same pump, and have a very similar design. So much so that ATI has supposably cut off shipments of replacement pump parts to anyone but bubblemaster owners.

Anyway, as I posted on the refugium thread... as long as MSX makes skimmers large enough to handle my future tank upgrades, I will continue to purchase from them.

I would guess 6-8"

Will that make access to your tank difficult though, or do you have a way to raise them when you need to?
