The support is personal and quick. As a beta tester/owner I have the privilege of making a difference in the development of this new controller.

I actually think of point 3 as a pro not con. The less options the less cluttered and easier the interface is.

Can't wait to say the same thing. Unfortunately I got mine from Aquarium Specialty and it appeared they got the first shipment after everyone else did. Hope it's not the case with the second shipment !!

Has anyone looked at the wiring in the power bar. Is that just 18 gauge?

Vertex has admitted that the 16A rating was a mistake and should have been 10A. They are creating a video currently to state that. They were alerted about it a few days ago and addressed it on the Cerebra forum

This a 16 amp power bar. If the wire is 18 gauge it is not good. Would like someone to verify. Just 4 screws to open.

FGauge 110V 12V
22 5A 5A
20 7.5A 8A
18 10A 10A
16 13A 20A
14 17A 40A
12 23A 60A
10 33A 100A
8 46A 150A
6 60A ??A
4 80A ??A
2 100A ??A
1 125A ??A
0 150A

Neither do you... but your "friend" does...

You know, and I will say it again, everyone here who actually has one says they like it.

You, who doesn't have it, keeps trying to rip it apart.

What time is it there in Morgan Hill, California (Neptune's headquarters)?

What doesn't help this thread is people who don't own the Cerebra coming in here and telling people who do own it - that the people who do own it and say they like it really don't know if they really like it or not - much to the people who own it's amazement - as has been shown here.

More than one person has called this person out - and not just me.

ok bottom line
mine works GREAT! love it, easy, does what i want.will be better as they go along.
New apex not so good had problems right out of box neptune said send it back did after paying a deposit sent one out right away,Good! second came that problem not there but other ones came up.everything sent back. will waite till they get the bugs worked out.
Bottom line
choose the one that will meet your needs and requirements AND
Don't rely on a controller to run your tank like its NASA

Any word on the second shipment ? Not really happy with Aquarium Specialty regarding updates. This has been the first time dealing with them and completely unimpressed.

Well I guess I should chime in at this point. Got one, registered on the other forum with it. It looks dam nice in the box but it will sit in it for a few more weeks until the build is done. In my downtime I will be eating popcorn and watching everyone bicker instead of enjoying their aquarium like the should be.

Finally got mine today. First impressions: packaging looks great and well protected. All probes, power bar, cerebra, etc. come with sealed, temper proof boxes.

I ordered:

1x Cerebra Controller
1x Multi-bar
1x Redox probe
1x PH double junction probe
1x Conductivity (Salinity) probe
1x Optical water level sensor
1x Float water level sensor
2x Vertex XL probe holders

For some reason, I did not get the signed manual also instead of getting a Multi-bar I got a Power-bar. I will speak with AS tomorrow about this.

AS told me that Multi-bars were not included in the first shipment they received from Vertex. They will ship it once they become stocked - no ETA on that. So dont expect to get a Multi-bar with your shipment (except of course the one already with the controller).

Wow you need 3x Power-bars and 2x Multi-bars, are you connecting your whole house to the Cerebra?
