looks like a bristle worm but hard to see if there’s any bristles

Caught a look at it after dark and it was extended out about 3” from the sand When extended it for sure looked like a bristle worm

10 years ago when I first ran this tank bristle worms were bad and you had to get rid of them. Now I’m reading that they are good ??

For the most part I’ve always thought they were beneficial. Some say they aren’t when they get big. Others say when in doubt take it out. Me personally, just a small irritation if I brush up against them so they don’t bother me

Some kind of snail, flat shell on top that he cannot retreat into, only hide under. He only comes out once my white lights start dimming in the evening sequence Anyone ID it ?

A stomatella- a fine addition to your clean-up crew. Essentially, they're snails with tiny little "half" shells. They can move surprisingly fast.

I have 3 of these that I have found so far. Basically clear with black banding, looks a lot like a super small brittle star kinda. Very long arms protruding from rock

Yep, probably a mini brittle star. May never get any bigger. I had a bloom of them once.

Could anyone help with an identification of those translucent ‘stalks’? Cycling new tank, growing from the live rock. Makes an appearance with the lights, recedes when they’re off. I only noticed it in the rock today. Found it on a few rocks, more or less on all sides.

Those look like the tubes that house hydroids. Do you ever see feathery heads sticking out of the tubes?

Well, they're polyps. If they don't have a skeleton beneath them, then they may be zoanthids, but are probably palythoa. Palythoa can release palytoxin, which can be harmful to humans, so research palythoa and be careful if/when you handle them.

It looks like Phyllangia Americana, a common hitchhiker coral.

Alk and cal won't rise if mg is low. Current Tank Info: 105g AquaVim wedge, yellow tang, sailfin blenny,royal gramma, ocellaris clown pair, yellow watchman, 100 microceriths, 25 tiny hermits, a 4" conch, 1" nassarius, recovering from 2 year hiatus with daily water change of 10%.
