I was only kidding of course.

Also, I took another FTS and angled the camera down so it turned out a little better. The brain's color still gets washed out because of the sand though.

He's doing well. I'm feeding small amounts of my garlic mixed food 4 times a day, and started soaking the Nori in garlic today. The spots are dissapearing, but I don't know if he's fighting it off or they are just dropping off to reproduce. Also, the yellow tang hasn't had any spots on him for the last few days.

this is the page for powertools for windows

http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/d...powertoys.mspx

this is the exe

http://download.microsoft.com/downlo...tall/2/WXP/EN-

DL it and install. When you right click on a photo you will have the option to resize. when you do you get a little menu, you click the size you want then click on advance then click "make pictures smaller not larger" that way the pic looks the same when its resized(think putting pics as your back ground and how they look distorted.).

Nothing

A local reefer was kind enough to lend it to me.

Yep standard 90 - 24" tall. The way the sensor was, my reading was about 2" above the tank bottom.

My bulbs at the time of testing the PAR were:

3 ATI Blue Plus
2 ATI Aquablue
1 Geiseman MidDay.

I've since changed to
(Front)
UVL 75/25
Geisemann 6K day
UVL super actinic
Geisemann 6K day
ATI Aquablue
ATI blue plus.
(back)

I have not re-measured the PAR since the bulb changes. I changed in an attempt to get a better balance of non-blue color because I was getting the clam (who I have now!)

Lol. I took a day off a couple weeks ago so I could put in my T5 retro. Does that count as addiction?

I think the fact that we come back to this thread to talk about and look at a guy-who-we-barely-know's tank is an addiction... taking a vacation day was just resourceful

I love the rock-work in your tank.

I am in the process of a 90 build also. I was planning on creating two rock islands somewhat like yours, I am glad they have turned out so well.

Are you happy with 6 bulbs or would you go with 8? I still can not decide how many to use.

That's a nice start to a long weeked... although I'll be interested to see if you return with "only" cheato.

Whenever I head up to Salty Critter (about 90min) I always end up dropping way more than I planned on. Then justify it by telling myself... well I'm not up here a lot so I need to make the most of it.

Thank you.

Yes I am happy with the 6 bulbs, and probably could add one more if I wanted to. However, would I take 8 bulbs...? For sure

My canopy will only fit 7 of the icecap retros underneath it due to the reflector and standoff widths. However, I could probably fit an 8 bulb all in one unit like a Tek fixture underneath it if I wanted to.

Ultimately your lighting requirements will be dependent upon the type of corals you wish to keep. I have been successful keeping a little of everything thus far, and plan on adding some clams and an anemone when I get a chance.

Thanks for posting... and good luck
