Could you clarify, your policy?...I am in the middle of a new build, and have already contacted a popular website that sells them, and I am sold on them, but I am uneasy about the support, and lead time. especially when the other light that I would get is from Eco-tech, and they have a proven customer service record... Thx Jose I am in no way

You will be sent the parts to fix the issue, as they are self serviceable, but based on the fact we do not have a recorded case of a lamp failure yet, this is really of little concern when looking at purchasing a GHL lamp.
Support is second to none, you will deal with me the distributor directly and if we cant help you have access to full support form GHL directly. Lead time, they are in stock right now Please ask anyone here, we have an impeccable client care record, 7 days a week contact.

This is good to hear, the seller did mention that he already have a new order on the way...
For the new mitras. Hopefully after this I can finish my order.

@Micahel
I had a quick question, I was wondering what was is the most expensive part to replace on the mitras( apart from the led modules) I am assuming its the main motherboard that the led modules plug into? if yes how much does this part cost to replace? |

yes it would be, no idea on cost although we have one here, as never had to replace one or charge anyone for replacing.
I really really would not worry yourself so much, this is GHL I worry you are going to jinx yourself

strange you are not aware of the cost, do you not order these in as the distributor and pay for them? regardless, my experience with GHL is not been great so far and the reply back from Mattius confirmed exactly what I was saying in my previous threads about supply issues in effect acknowledging the issues I had here and the reply was not very friendly either So i do worry about ghl products when their products manager is not friendly and the issues I had. they lucky they have you If you would like an email explaining in detail just let me know |

I really dont need copies of the emails I think we have already been over your issues on this thread we are going round and round and round in circles everything was explained in our PM to you and GHL also contacted you about your unique issue which I believe has been very much resolved.
I saw the reply i am not quite sure how the same email was not friendly (as in last posts here, confused further) Please try not to always find the negative, GHL provide us with spares and IF we need to sell them we will then ask the price as we do not charge a client any cost on top of what it costs us for damaged replacements as a very positive good will gesture to the client so to get the right cost we have to know it at the real time the part needs paying for. See all positive client orientated no negative to be found. In know you had a tough time being caught in the middle of the UK distribution change and that has been explained to you, but that does not mean as everyone else has pointed out there is anything negative to be seen or said especially in client care and product quality, I am concerned you are now having an axe to grind over a product you have not even purchased Other than your posts there is not a single negative in any of this whole thread, so please understand our concern, everyone has done their best to try and reason and reassure you. I am not quite sure what else to tell you. Please if you have any more concerns that your unit is going to go belly up on you which would be the first ever that I know of please email me sales@aqua-digital.com then this thread can stay on track, thanks so much

Email sent, I will keep it off the forum but please don't say thing like I try to "find the negative" because they exist or existed. If you like I can put all email correspondences here for all to see and no axe to grind

Everyone understands you had a bad experience with a UK distributor, we all understand this, I think its time to move on from that.
Maybe post some questions about functionality instead, I think we have covered all events in regards to potential failures and the issue you had with the UK distributor during the changes over there

hello,
this is the first time I post here on ReefCentral, but it's been a while since I read and learn, preparing to mount my first reef. Currently have a freshwater planted with discus and i´ts time for the salty adventure. My tank i,ll be a rimless 47(120)x24(60)x22(55) mostly sps with some lps and clams. i thing by what i´ve been reading that two mitras it´s enough for this size....(?). Now ghl launch the new model (6200) and I do not know which model to choose (6100hv or 6200hv). I really liked your opinions on which model to choose, and the diferences between the two, besides the obvious color changes...what is better for my tank? best regards, Marco (sorry for my english) |

I went with the 6200 due to having more blue at full power. I heard the 6100 is pink at full power.
The mitras is a quality led, and so nice to look at. One thing I was wondering for large tanks why can't they make a unit that is double the size.? |

My doubt is whether the lack of yellows and reds will affect the growth and health of corals.
we have good exemples of coloration and growth with the 6100hv, the 6200hv have the same performance in this parameters? |

I don't understand why Europeans post here other thinks than experience with that Mitras?!
There're nice forums on the old continent too and of course the GHL forum. By searching this forums you will find a good retailer in your country or in the union who has good customer support fast.

Hi, I can't reply to your PM because I don't have enough posts! Mitras should arrive this week but it's only for a smaller freshwater planted aquarium. So you won't see a journal here! Can't wait though! Thanks for your encouragement though and best of luck with your project. P |

The price of the Mitras is close to equal across the global market so everyone nearly pays the same.

Everyone is welcome on the Mitras Club, just because RC is hosted in the USA does not mean this thread is just for NA users. Just remember if you are looking for direct GHL support for your own country region then it is always best to use www.profiluxsupport.com other than that the club is open to all. Everyone enjoy.
