Thanks, I actually saw ORA's black neon dotty and fell in love, I am keeping it in the place of the pipefish and it will be alone in the fuge

I have a 28g JBJ nanocube with 30# of LR and a 1" sand bed.

Invert:
12 Astrea Snails
5 Bumblebee Snails
3 Nassarrius Snails
1 Emerald Crab

I have added one 2" Flame Wrasse (Cirrhilabrus jordani) and a friend is taking down his tank and has offered me a 3" Scott's Fairy Wrasse (Cirrhilabrus scottorum). Should I take him up on my offer?

I have a couple LPS in the tank (frogspawn, torch) and plan for this to be a coral centric tank with no more than 4 total fish...the others are not yet decided upon but I'm leaning towards a sand sifting goby and possibly a clown fish (children are clamoring for "nemo").

Thank you in advance for the advise.

Both require larger tanks (considerably). C. scottorum is very, very aggressive and is not compatible with C. jordani at all, especially in a tiny tank

180 gallon 6x2x2 tank with 75 gallon sump/refugium. Planning a new FOWLR with barebottom. No current residents (week 3 of fishless cycle). When cycle is complete, I'd like to slowly add the following, in order:

Decorated rabbitfish
1M / 4F Lyretail Anthias
Blue Girdled Angelfish
(2) Schooling bannerfish
Threadfin/auriga butterflyfish
(4) Golden Butterflyfish
Powder blue tang

Also, I'd like a clean-up crew, but I'm guessing snails are out with this group of fish. Maybe a bunch of hermit crabs?

Hi setting up a new 250litre reef tank for my sister and she really likes the orchid dottyback (pseudochromis fridmani) and royal gramma (gramma loreto). However, I'm not sure what else to suggest. Any suggestions?

Hi!
Can you verify my modified whis list?
And the order I propose is that good?
125G (50x26x22) + 40G sump mixed reef, 6 t5ho x 54w, invert like anemone, shrimp, snail, crab, star

1. 1 mini tiny oscellaris clown + 1 firefish purple

2. 1 oscellaris clownfish, 1royal gramma, 1 tailspot blenny, 1 pajama cardinal (already have in a 25G that I want to transfert in that new tank)

3. 1 Orange back fairy wrasse and 1 pink banded goby

4. 2 watanabe angel female, concurrently

5. 1M/6F resplendant anthias

6. 1 black bar chromis

7. Maybe 1 kole tang or scopas or white chek tang if its possible?

Thank you!!

For a six foot tank, this is a fair number of largish fish; however, be sure to carefully quarantine and be sure the semilarvatus butterfly fish are introduced together early.

Also, I'd like a clean-up crew, but I'm guessing snails are out with this group of fish. Maybe a bunch of hermit crabs?

I will be happy to analyze any stocking list you provide. However, as those who follow this thread know, I do not provide recommendations/suggestions for a variety of reasons.

3. 1 Orange back fairy wrasse and 1 pink banded goby

4. 2 watanabe angel female, concurrently This may or may not work, but I would say the odds are only 50/50

5. 1M/6F resplendant anthias

6. 1 black bar chromis

7. Maybe 1 kole tang or scopas or white chek tang if its possible?

Fine, except as noted

Thank you!!

Man, this list keeps on changing, thanks for the help and sorry for all the trouble, haha.

2x true perc
1x royal gramma
1x firefish
1x tailspot blenny (maybe)
1x Flame/lemonpeel
1x Valentini Puffer

I know that the puffer will nip at inverts, but I don't mind as long as it'll leave snails, zoas, and maybe a cleaner shrimp alone. Or is it too risky?

Ah, turns out they'll eat starfish too, so I think I'll pass on it. Hoping to find one or two more things to put into the tank.

No problem. For future questions be sure to respecify tank size and age. Thanks.

My 220 is finally ready to start adding additional livestock
Mixed reef
So far I have 2 small perculas
400+ snails for c.u.c.

Her is my idea:
3 x yellow tangs
3-5 x pajama cardinals
Wrasse (reef safe)
Mandarin, down the road

Would like to also do a powder brown tang
Shrimp, either cleaner or coral banded

Let me know what you think.

Would like to also do a powder brown tang must be introduced with the yellow tangs as established yellow tangs will not allow it
Shrimp, either cleaner or coral banded coral banded shrimp can take fish

Let me know what you think.

Have a 250litre (65gallon) reef tank currently housing 8 snails, 6 red legged hermit crabs, 1 royal gramma and 2 common clownfish.

Would like to add:
1xBanggai Cardinal (Pterapogon kauderni)
1xCarpenter's Flasher (Paracheilinus carpenteri)
2-3xGolden Forktail (Assessor flavissimus)
1xOrchid Dottyback (Psuedochromis fridmani)
1xDwarf Anglefish either Bicolour Dwarf (Centropyge bicolor) or Potter's Dwarf (Centropyge potteri)

Are these fish compatible? Also what order would you add them in?
