Love the exclusive tanks with clam only with live rock ("COLR"? or COLoR Tanks? New acronym? Lots of work went into these specimens, and a lot of work went into the thread. It took me 11 hours to download page 1, as I have dial up....just kidding!

I'm a noob at clam keeping, and I've started with a maxima. It's from ORA and so far it's doing great after having it for 4 months. It has 2 new rows of scutes! Here's atop down pic:

icenine2005, thirschmann, d4a2n0k Very nice clams.

dhoch Those maxima's are insane

Palancarpets That coloration of crocea is my favorite

asmodeus 5 derasa's Nice. Can you get a better top down pic of the maxima, it is hard to tell what color it is in the pic?

basser1 Kudo's to you, Very nice maxima, Your tank looks awesome. Now matter what I do I can't find the variety of coral color you have. The jawfish is cool too. And is that a picasso clown?

Thanks skinz78 for the compliments! Ever since I went with MH lighting, I have begun to keep more sps corals as well as the clam. I originally had zoas, palys, leathers, and some lps. My LFS gas traded some of the softies with me for some sps. And yes, that is a Picaaso. His or her mate is swimming somewhere in the tank when I took this shot. And they both host in the brain coral!
