I had thought about that also..
I am planning on having one end of the tank with lots of rock stacked high. The opposite side will be open water with some rocks near the back wall. Leaving lots of sand open for LPS. I can probably hide a #4 behind the rock ok. And along the side of the rock towards the front. Maybe a #3 for this. But the open water end is what I am wondering about. Maybe if I increase my return pump from my sump I can direct it to the open area. Or if I added something strong to the center of the rock pile and had it blow against the opposite side and disperse... |

I built my tank under the impression that a CL was the answer. But after I figured out the extra plumbing, hole locations, pumps, and OM device I would have rather stuck with power heads. Plus if I re-aquascape, then I need to add power heads anyway....
Hindsight is 20/20. Another thing too, if you are tight for space under your stand too. I didn't realize how much room a snapper and a 4-way and all related plumbing would take up! |
