What do you guys mean you rubber band it? Any vids or pictures you guys can show me? (Or maybe frag a peice of one of your tanks that grows alot, and show me a pic over 3 days of what it should look like)

They do like current,And you can use gel superglue to secure them to a frag. But they are very forgiving also.And the fact the fall aprt is a sign of trouble. Look here for xenia specs.

I'd frag you some of it but i ripped it all out and donated it to my LFS. basically just take a rubber band and put it around a rock. Then lift it up and stuff some of the xenia under it. From my experience it's a pretty resilient coral and will bounce back quickly. I literally use to rip it off my live rock and give it away & it always survived my abuse. I wouldn't ever do that to any of my other corals.

so if you just tie a rubber band around it, how will the roots of it attach, man, i just really want a pic or a video.

They don't have roots. whatever part of them that's touching the rock will attach to the rock.

Thankyou so much! So, it will attach to any type of rock? Well, im not going to frag it at first, im going to try to buy a big peice, and do that to a couple different spotts in my tank.

if you don't like wrapping it with a rubber band--then insert a tooth pick through the base of it and rubber band the tooth pic to the piece of rock
