New Aquascape
Okay, so I have to say it looks better in person because you can see the dimension of the rock better... tell me what you think...

MORE CORALS!!!!!!!!
j/k...believe me, I know its tough being a student and all...I do think however, that if you are going to have a smaller amount of rock in the tank, you need to get a few more fish, or coral just to "liven it up" a bit.

well i didnt take any live rock out.. its the exact same rocks just moved into a better position... oh and im getting some corals too... I like the rock work this way because there are ALOT more spaces to put corals and frags... I also like being able to see more sand...
I realized that once i put corals in there it's going to make the rock positioning look great.. thanks reefman, and yes I DO need more corals!!! I'm looking to buy some if anyone has any cool frags

Here's what I got today... Was afraid it was going to die during shipment but ended up real good
Heres a picture of the flash.. basically just to show the structure.. doesnt show the color... the next pictures will These two pictures show the colors of it better. Its funny.. whatever i put in the tank the peppermint run up to it and clean the heck out of it... you should be able to see the peppermint shrimp on the right of the carpet anemone

Yeah peppermints are supposed to remove anemones...pepermints bothering a new anemone...especially a carpet (looks like a mertens carpet btw) IMO, would try to get them to stay away for a little while at least until the carpet is settled in.

I like the rock structure. Looks like you said: well set up for adding lots of corals. Looking forward to seeing it progress. I wish I could own a 200+ one day. If you need corals and by "Student at Uconn" you mean Storrs, you need to get in touch with the Fitch man.

Thanks! CTReefer
Aww lol.. I am a student at UConn, but not Storrs ... im at the stamford campus, 10 mins from my house... But dont worry.. I may have alot of corals on the way.. we'll see what works out. A few have said in the Large Reef Tanks forum that I should build up the rock in the center of the tank so it covers the whole back wall.. Im not sure if I want to do it though... What do you guys think?

Looking good, Do you have any pictues of your sump? I have a 180g Bowfront and currently have my sump in basement. I am in the planning process of installing an acrylic 55g under stand.

lol. good im not the only one...
I'm so happy today... my carpet is looking great and my small male Gold Stripe Maroon clown is all over it... but the clown is acting a little weird... I'm not so experienced in this subject, but i find it strange that the little clown is sort of jamming his head into the mouth of the carpet... and also sucking on it's tentacles... strange... anyone know anything about this?

Seems like it's probably normal behavior... they can do some odd stuff to their hosts. It might be trying to feed it.
