I disputed mine with paypal yesterday and the money was refunded today! Only thing he has done on time!!! Now to go to bulk reef supply and order my rocks for the same price, but with actual customer service!!
his e-mail said 5-20 orders have been shipped out. The problem I see is he took over 100 pre-orders, Good luck to everyone else |

I cant say with 100%certainty, the fiji looks simular to marco rocks just slightly darker and denser, looks like the pukani might be closer to marco rocks from what i can tell,Ill post some pics later today so you can be the judge I have both maro and eco rox (fiji)

I have to research now how to prepare it. I'm thinking some dilute bleach first to take care of the residual organics, then an acetic acid soak to clean it up.
I found some threaded nylon rod locally, to build some formations. |

ordered from bulk reef supply today and it has shipped today!!!! Ordered 50 lbs of their dry fiji medium size 8-12" total of $147.39 shipped. The marco I cancelled was $151.28 shipped, so about the same price. I will post pictures when it arrives.

Just happened to stumble onto this thread, and don't know if this was mentioned, but I know from two sources that some major south pacific harvest sites for LR were shut down for the better part of the spring. Tonga just recently started shipping again.

I dont have a scale but the ups shipping label says 55lbs. I asked for all large pieces when I ordered. With bulk reef being in Minn. I always receive ups ground the next day.
Also dr. f&s just sent out my live rock. That should be here Friday. I ordered the south pacific deepwater (show size) 30lbs |

Had no problems with my order for 45 lbs. of refugium rubble. Ordered 6/5, shipped next day. I had called to make sure the item was in stock before I ordered and Mark called me back the next day to confirm stock, then shipped the order immediately.
A pretty decent fellow. IMO. |

Yeah I also recieved my rock. The problem I dont think was him so to speak. He has good intentions and the problem that occurred with this is that his rock of course gets shipped to him and he had problems with the source and delays there and then it takes time to get to the docks and get unloaded and such. He did mess up with one thing although no harm was meant by it. He was receiving lots of emails and phone calls for people that wanted to preorder and didn't mind waiting sooooo, what did he do? He decided to quell this request by setting an approximate expected by date on his website that the rock we be ready to ship out. Well, when the rock didn't get to him in time imagine how many unhappy preorder customers there where. "What do you mean the rock isn't ready yet? The website said by such and such date." I agree there could have been a little better customer relations and some kind of contact to let customers know what was going on but aside from that I have always heard good things about this company and its product.

That's exactly what happened, according to him. He now has this email update thing on his site that gives up-to-the-minute info on ETA for his next shipment.
BTW. Excellent signature. |
