I decided even after giving the yellow tang a bath in prazipro and then a bath in para guard that it wasnt enough so i have put him in a hospital tank and dosed it with prazipro. After reading alot about flukes i am just not convinced that a bath got rid of the flukes.I may be paranoid but i would rather be safe than sorry.I have a clown in the display tank do i need to worry about him even though he has shown no signs of trouble or is this gonna be like ick where i have to treat him as well.To be honest i am really guessing on all this as he doesnt have the signs of flukes i have seen in pictures(no cloudy eyes or white spots) besides twitching behavior and a bump on his side.I would hate to throw a clown that is perfectly healthy into medicine if he doesnt need it.

After getting some advice from the disease forums from a few people(ty again) I have decided to put the clown in the hospital tank as well and run 2 weeks of prazi pro 1 week of carbon then 1 week of cupramine just to cover me on ich while they are in qt anways.I will leave the display tank fishless for 5 weeks or so.I know i will feel better going this route then i would just waiting and hoping for the best.

I decided to treat the display tank with prazipro as well for a week.I put 1 oz of it in my tank and will keep the skimmer off for a week.I will then add 2 chemi-pure bags to remove the medicine. The tang and clown are doing well in the qt and the bump that the tang had on his side now looks like an exit wound so it appears my thoughts of him having flukes have turned out to be true. The area looks very good and appears to be healing nicely. He is no longer breathing hard and looks like he is getting all his color back.I am confident that the prazipro will make sure the display tank safe as their are no fish for the flukes to hide in.This has been quite the ordeal and i guess it is all part of learning this great hobby
