I have had no issues so far. The top off jug is a 5g water bottle. I dont want more then my sump can hold just in case something goes wrong. I loose about a gallon a day so I change bottles twice a week. I also drip Kalk through my ATO si I really only have 4g of available water. I keep the hose about 3 inches off the bottom.

I just bought a Tsunami ATO but have yet to hook it up, so I can't post any results.

+1 for jsr's setup, I've had exactly the same configuration for a year with no issues. Only regret was not doing it sooner.

I ended up going with the reef fanatic one. I will post my views if I ever get it in the military snail mail.

Canadian too, so shipping, exchange, and customs fees are a bit more attractive. |

What about a tank with no sump? What is the "least" obtrusive ATO for a display tank?
