After picking mu buttocks up off of the floor after rolling around laughing for an hour, I select this as the funniest (and funnest) thread that I have ever read here on RC!

I just rated it as excellent and I would like to vote for it to be thread of the day/month/year but I don't know how. Maybe it is a function of how many RCers rate it?

James

+1 on a device that will keep levels (specific gravity, calcium, magnesium, alkalimity, ph, etc.) exctly where you want it by just punching in the number that you want.

+1 on a turbine powered by falling water from the DT that produces energy for the tank.

How about solar panels that capture light spill over from the tank and converts it into usable power for the tank.

I think that some sort of culture and/or machine that recycles water from water changes and makes it usable again.
...that way we won't be throwing away valuable water all of the time.

A way to move water without impellers.

Already exists but uses a reactor (think Chernobyl) and is on a submarine.
