Red Plate Type Corals
Fernando, you have an inspirational tank. I am new to the hobby and I was hoping that you can tell me what the name of the coral is that you have in the bottom center of your tank. It is a red fan like coral that is amazing. Please let me know.

What a beautiful pristine tank.
I wonder, if you could take pictures or diagrams of how you have adjusted your calcium reactor. It sounds as though it was done for space issues, but you increased the production as well. Two benefits from a modification sounds like an exponential increase in productivity. Thanks Aaron

no question stunning! interesting background (not that we can see it) can you post of picture? beautiful colors, must do a lot of coral fragging, do you do any dips /quarantines of new ones? Are you considering you have no more room to expand? are you concerned that overcrowding may lead to problems? just a consideration , as others have expressed truly amazing.

Beautiful tank Nando, congratulations!
I'm interested in your pendants as well. They look to be DIY. Is any more information available on how you built them? |

Hi, very inspiring tank! Just wondering how you achieve phosphate removal? Also wondering if you run carbon?
Do you dose sugar or other carbon source? Also interested in knowing more about your CA reactor set up. Thank you for all of your hard work, hopefully we can learn from you. |

I realize this is an old thread, but I came across this gorgeous tank as I was looking at TOTM tanks. I was astounded by the color and health of the corals.
Nando if you are still out there, one question please. How do you go about dosing strontium, boron and potassium? Do you test for all of these. If so, which test kits do you like to use? |
