Supermiska, that's a nice tank. Very clean, yet natural looking. The equipment is out of sight. Nice job. You can really tell the difference between a tank that has a natural look and a tank that looks like powerheads and rocks in a bucket.

Nice tank too small alien. I do like to see powerheads better blended into the tank but your corals look great.

I have got to say that you guys have some of the nicest looking tanks I have ever seen, beautiful work.
Mine is more of an experiment but it will be 40 years old this March.
It is 100 gallons with a RUGF, home made lights, skimmer, algae trough, and ATO.
It is not blue like the picture but my camera thinks it is.

And about ten years ago, the green is local Codium seaweed that I like to add in the summer.

Nice Paul. You're too modest, your tank looks like it was plucked from the ocean. By the way, looking forward to getting my aiptazer.

Thanks Frogman but it's not modesty, it's the truth. Some of the tanks on here are fantastic, mine is old but no where as nice.

Thanks! I had a biocube before this but knew nothing about reefing and it ended up looking HORRIBLE! I've never seen anyone have a hair algae problem 1/3 as bad as my biocube was. I cooked those rocks for 3 months, then added them into this 90g along with 40 lb's of marco rock. I also added a CUC of about 110 mixed snails to make sure that algae never returns along with buying an RO/DI unit I didn't even get algae in the cycle of this tank with the marco rocks. The new corals are doing awesome, I love this tank

Here is an old shot of my 90 I tried to keep the rock work low to allow for coral growth and swimming room. Unfortunately I have recently had to put it up for sale no bites yet but will see. some details it had wet dry filter, phosban reactor, UV sterilizer, home made protein skimmer, and 4x65 watt coralife Power compacts.

Here is an HD video of the tank.

Thanks, Frogman. That's a good point about the power heads. I think I'm just used to it. I may play around with that a little. Cheers.

Thanks Korrine, I looked for a bettter grade of beer can but that was the best I could collect.
I did collect it under water in the Long Island Sound so it is "really" natural.
