i just got a email back from nanotuners. Here is a copy !

1. The fixture sits down into the rim approximately 3/16”.
2. Yes, the Edge system includes the Duo 700 driver enclosure.
3. Unfortunately right now a tank set up is not possible. However, I can assure you the entire tank is lit up by the fixture. We will do what we can to illustrate things better as soon as I get a little bit more free time to update/enhance product pages.

That just sold me.

I knew it came with that dimmer!! Too late though man, I decided to just get the Panorama Module, more economical and I actually was able to see how it looked on a tank WITH water in it! That sold me!

well originally i only found this link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=__g1AD0MxF4
which shows the panorama fixture, and not the module itself, over a tank. This is really similar though, i mean its the same thing just like 5 of the modules instead of one but it shows you an idea of the color scheme you'll get. there is an actual panorama module video by ecoxotic, found here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cfPveyEKuK0
but it only shows the module with a freshwater tank. i can take a video of it on my fluval edge with and without the mr11s on, it sort of creats a lighting purple/blue look on the tank which i really like. i might eventually get an actinic stunner strip for dawn/dusk effect, but as for now i'm set.

yea i'll take a vid this weekend. right now its just sitting on the top glass part in front of the hood. in my opinion its not too obtrusive to the overall uniqueness of the tank. you dont really notice it when you look straight on. currently i think im gonna keep it just sitting there and not deal with making a new hood, because Fluval's hood is so perfectly fitting the the tank and stand thing that i dont wanna mess it up, idk maybe i'm lazy then haha. you should post some pics of your own tank too man, it'd be sweet to see how its comin.

Do u only have one led module running with mr11s ? or will the led module light it up buy its self ?

Well the easiest method for posting pics is to upload the pictures to photobucket, which will give you an image code which you can just paste into the message. For now I have the mr11s and the module bc the hood obstructs dimwit the light from the module, thus the module can't reach the middle back part of the tank. The mr11s cover the part of the tank directly below them and behind them so I don't mind having them. The light throughout the tank isnt exactly uniform in color but I think it blends well

As you can see the back plastic if off. Im trying to figure out a 10 gallon sump.
Or at least a Hob overflow to help skim the top water and filter it then pump it back in. kind of like a biocube setup.

Hmm that's an interesting idea, I'm no sumper tho I tried and found it excessive so stopped haha. Im likin the black sand, its always a cool take on tanks. Is that a Condy anemone in there too?

im really not sure if it is or not when i bought it the clown was hosting it so i bought them both but now the clown couldent care less about the anemone.
Im not sure about the sand it looked blacker when i bought it but now its more grayish. still looks good but i may change it when i install the sump and put all the black sand in the sump.

I'm all for pushing the limits, but this is disgusting animal abuse.

You remind me of me. My first tank was a 5.5g that housed a clown and a haddoni. I regret it to this day for being so arrogant and hard headed.

Please get a bigger tank or give the livestock away. You aren't suited to care for these organisms.

I could get into a philosophical and moral debate on this matter. The fact is, all fish are being abused in the aquarium hobby bc they belong in the ocean.

Jizzy-I had taken out water in order to acclimate the corals I added today I filled it about an hour after that video; dont worry the water cube still exists

Just order everything at one time johndoe. Be the man and take your chances. From my experience it just starts a hella argument for a day but then you have yourself a fish tanky. lol ( Just expect her to do the same thing to u once) Good luck !

oh and jizzy, i usually drive up to indianapolis and go to Premium Aquatics to buy my coral and fish, i dont deal with petco. all their fish have ick and they usually have a poor selection of coral (but lately i've been noticing more coral)

yea i mean theres an occasional fish without it but it will eventually get it if its left in their tanks. their entire system has ick except for a few tanks, bc most of their tanks run on the same filtration system and they wont leave their tanks fish free for a month to get rid of the ick so its always there

I'm using a Panorama on a 5.5 and it's fine for that size housing LPS corals.

However two clowns and an anemone is grossly overstocking your tank.

Agu-yea isn't the panorama awesome?! yea on a 6 gallon almost everything will work bc of the light penetration since it isn't very tall. The clowns....well....i always wanted a pair of black and whites with a nem, and i know its way over the recommended limits and all i just wanted my dream to come true. so far they've been happy, but i plan on removing them at first notice of unhappiness/illness. thanks for the advice
