FA wouldn't really effect whether or not you should get the other two.

Im curious why you keep asking the same questions over and over. They all have been answered. It seems you keep asking the questions differently hoping for a different answer.
A 75 is not big enough for the fish you want to keep. Can you keep one, sure but they will not be happy. Short term yeah, long term no. And unless your gonna have a aggressive tank, a clown trigger is a no no. Get a bigger tank, or leave the big fish alone. Thats my opinion and it seems like everyone elses as well. The idea of finding a used 125 and selling or using your 75 for a sump is a great idea. Bottom line is your gonna do what you want. But dont ask people over and over to try and justify it to yourself. Most people on this board are pretty smart and have a lot of experience with this hobby.

Should have known this was coming. What is worse, is that he stated that you have already been told that the majority of the fish will outgrow your 75.
Hope for your fish that you are actually able to upgrade your tank in time -- that will be a rarity.

Remember that the FISH come first in the hobby. Not us. I got a Volitan Lionfish ( that will get basketball size ) for my 55g, thinking that I would move it to my 210g once he needed to go in there. A year later, and I can't afford to keep the 210g running, and the Lionfish needs a bigger home. I'm going to save up every cent I have for a 120g for him that will work long-term... But, the future isn't set in stone. You can't rely on it, especially when lives are involved.
Your tank is too small for a BJT. Bigger tanks are better for newbs because there is more room for error. It would be way easier and stress-free for you to save up for a bigger tank now.

I agree with you about rhe upgrade. I WANT to upgrade. But, I am worried about my floor support. I looked up and saw that a 125 gallon including water was 1400lbs. Without LR. Also another option for me is a 150 gallon. This is 1800lbs without LR. I have my tanks in a office on the top floor of my house with a large desk and desktop computer, printer, etc. Will my floor be a ble to support rhat big of a tank? Please give youe thoughts and how i could keep it- beams, etc. Thanks

This confirms what has been clear for several pages. You've been sitting here waiting for someone to give you the answer you want, even if it's clear that the comment shows that the poster feels it would be a bad idea.

You won't need any supporters for a 125 i don't think, but will need some supporters for a 180 (unless it is running perp to the floor joists at a load bearing wall). Get an engineer to support this though, as I can't say 100%...

Its all about lbs per square foot. I talked with my home inspector about putting my 265 gallon on the upper level of my house and he said it would be just fine. The only hold up that I had was just in case the water leaked or some other catastrophie happened I didnt want it to ruin my main floor flooring. So I decided to put it in the basement. I have had a few overflows due to various things so I am very happy I did. I agree on getting an engineer's opinion because every house is different...

Seriously!!! You just keep throwing darts in the dark hoping to hit the what you want. 1500lbs is too much weight to put upstairs! Not to mention the fact that your talking a tank the size of your refrigerator! Try and get a fridge up there befor you try a GLASS tank! Tanks of that size are not lite either. I dont mean to come off as a d### but you need to slow down and think about thinks. We get that you are excited but there are things you need to do in order to have a pet and take care of it correctly. A fish is a living animal and should be treated as such. If you get a fish that can't live a good life in your setup it's time to change your setup. Same for a dog. If I catch you with a mastiff in a kennel for a lab you need to have that dog taken from you. Same for fish. If you don't think you would be happy in a crowded Christmas shopping line. Don't overstock your tank or try and put a fat guy in a little suit! It's going to turn out bad!!
