Most of the people who have them so far, seem to live within driving distance of the Dicon/Kessil factory location in California.

Hi guys,
I got to try out my friends new 15K Kessils over my acro tank and all i can say is WOW! I love them and am going to change over from my one 250 watt metal halide.
The 15k has that blue color I love, but it's so intense it does not wash out the yellows and reds on my acros!!!!!!
These little lights are AMAZING!!!! The best color I have seen so far for LED's! I cannot get over how bright those little suckers are!
And if you put them down about 5 inches above the water they are extremely bright! I am very impressed and am sold!!!
They where bringing our colors I could not get from my 14K 250 watt halide!

You have to be careful changing from 250w MH, the par of a kessi 150 will significantly less. I tried out shouldn't be enough to draw conclusions and change.

Which angle lens did you get?

I'm curious as to how far the 31 degree angle lens will cover.

I do not know the angle of the lights? I do not remember it saying. I will look again. I am not in any way afeleated with Kessil I just happened to be in the right place at the right time to get my hands on these. I paid about 425.00 each.

I know Buddy! Its great:-) I was going to say today that...im actually still on the same 5g top off water jug that I filled I believe (I did a w/c ....5-6 days ago) last week. Idk, its just kind of new to me having to not make new water almost every 3 days like I was w the MHs and VHOs! Oh .......I actually had a question for you man! OK, you know how I have 4 of them over my 180g Bow front! Well there are the 2 (I guess you can call them supports, or brackets) brackets that run across my tank at about 18" L and another the same. I was wondering, b/c I think im getting a tad bit of the light being blocked from them, this being the bad thing w/ not having a seemless tank which has none. I have (running from left to right), a sky blue - ocean blue - sky blue - than last another ocean blue. Its 72" long and kind of wanted to get your take on if, I should possibly put a few of them on a slight angle, or what you would do? Thanks again Bud

:-) well, I guess il include myself... !!! Yes, absolutely! I actually have close to 20 different SPS corals along with plenty LPS, such as torch, frog spawn, hammer, alot in the euph. Family. Also many others, and they are honestly doing absolutely unbelievable! B/f such sps in which I had for some reason or another (no major parameter changes, still same o'l dosing and what not)! Hey there! You definitely don't have to be hesitant on moving your RBTA! I currently have 1 large one and another green long teniclle (just b/c my baby clown likes it a little better since moving to the larger 180)!

Hey there! ! Im so glad you love your Kessil 15k also! Its pretty unbelievable the colors that come out in your certain Corals you didn't even know existing! I was also very surprised at some of the colors, as at first I thought I had found a new coral that i might have lost behind a rock or such, but definitely not, there great, enjoy buddy:-)

I am getting a 75 gallon tank - 48 inches long. Would 2 of the Kessil's 350 model be sufficient for the tank - would like to get some sps in the future.

Any suggestions? I sure would appreciate it.
