Looking good. Few questions:
-Are still running the A350? If so, are you happy with your results so far? I'm slowly moving into a similar size tank and I'm debating between keeping my 350 or going another route. I like the clean and simple look of one A350 over a rimless tank but not sure if I'm getting the best results possible with it. -Have you been happy with the skimmer? Just picked up a SCA-301 for my build. Everyone seems to love them but it just seems too good to be true for the price. -Forgive me for being nosy but how pricy was that kitten? I was under the impression that those things were super expensive. Anyways, definitely following along. Great looking tank and you should really be proud every time you look at it after building it all up from scratch!

I ended up selling the skimmer and upgrading to an ATB cone skimmer because of an awesome deal. Only thing I didn't like about the other one was how tiny the collection cup was. I got my cat from someone who found out they were highly allergic to him. They paid $1600 for him and I paid $250. |

I made mine from supplies from BRS. Just like that, it sits right on top. I use little rubber stoppers on the corners to elevate it slightly

you have reef crest at 100%?
Anyway you can post a vid? I'd really like to see what proper flow looks like. My MP10 is set to like 30%, as I felt my poor clowns were "treading water" all day just to keep alive. |

I've been happy with the Kessil as far as color goes but Im not getting awesome growth like I did with my 250 watt Radiums. I found this 6 bulb powermodule for sale and am excited to give T5's a shot for the first time. Hopefully I don't bleach out my corals. |

I believe the aluminum frame is anodized, not painted. I have had it in use for about 2 months and looks like new. Mine looks just like the pic. probably same product

Awesome I might be getting the exact light for my 40 breeder. Can't wait to see more!

Hi there. I saw your thread asking about the mounting height of the PM above the waterline: Start off with at least 12inches above the water with all tubes at no more than 6 hours.
You can then start to lower the unit to about 9inches and increase full lighting hours to about 8 hours with actinics of 1 hours either side. If you noticed colours lightening, reduce light hours by as much as 30%, and then start to increase slowly. Whilst the LED unit may have had a high PAR beneath, you will be surprised at how much PAR the PM can throw over a much greater spread; hence some corals away from the centre may actually get more PAR than before. |

Took a bunch of photos last night that I didn't have time to process yet. Here's one of them to bump the thread.

The ATI fixture looks great and really brings out the colors. I love LED and my LFS was trying to push me towards the kessil, but seeing how yours look, i love the ATI
Beautiful tank BTW! |

And yes, AA will definitely help to deepen the colours. I use KZ AA and Coral Vitaliser. The KZ AA is very potent. When I increased my light hours too much and my all my corals pale out, the KZ AA greatly helped. But be careful, too much and you risk the corals to brown out. Or algae. I am now only dosing a drop now and again. I dont run my lights no longer than 8 hours, and only 6 hours for the all tubes. |
