They are stainless and surprisingly strong.

It's pretty intense. Those pics I posted of the corals it's only running the "white" channel that is 20 different whites and 10 blues and it's turned all the way down for light acclimation. I'll give it a few days before turning on the color channel

Just making sure. Lol I was thinking I hope that isn't full intensity or you got ripped off. Lol
Are you happy with it? Give us a quick review

So far I'm happy with it. The fans are dead quiet. It's rediculously bright. It would be plenty strong enough over a 90G. I'm a little concerned with the blue spectrum. It seems to have a lot more blue than royal blue and no real violet. I'll likely make a few changes down the rd but for now i still see it as worth the money.

That's good. Probably not to difficult to swap out the individual led's.
How do you know 'how much' to dim the lights for corals? - for the full daylight portion (not acclimating). What do you use to base how bright it is... |

I always just looked at my corals. If they looked like they were reaching out for more light I gave them more. If the looked like they were light in color I backed it down. Once I had it dialed in things were growing like crazy in my 75.

There is a closed loop in the wall. It's flow is supplied by that. I restricted the flow by capping the pipe that runs into it and adding 1/8" holes until I got the desired flow. I'm going to put some rubble in it to help grow pods. It's too small for cheato.

My red planet is darkening up after only 2 days in the tank. The Monty Polyps are a lot more extended today and way more pink than ever before. Looks like these 2 will make it just fine.

So far everything is alive. I only have those few corals in it. It's done cycling so it's about time to move the rest of my stock over from my 75. INot my cube build started so this will only be running another 2 months tops.

No I'm going to maximize swim space and do a rock pillar up the middle. That way the fish have free roam to swim in circles. Also doing a ghost overflow to save as much space in the tank. The 29 with the wall lost a ton of swim space.. I might keep it running as a frag tank and stock it with colorful damsels. Keep it on the cheap.
