Get an app on your phone called Fing. It lets you know the IP address of every device on your network.

Forgot how to get into my Apex when I got my DOS unit so used Fing and within minutes I was logged in.

If you are talking about the actual Apex App from the App Store, what I do is use my DynDns address to access my Apex via the Apex App. That works great whether I am home or away. If you are talking about connecting via the web browser to the build in web interface (not fusion), it could be your port number. If you are using the default port 80, some routers block that port and in some cases, other network devices may be using it and causing a conflict. I ran into that issue once with my Apex and had to change the port number to get it working again via the browser.
