Using a filter or no? The color on the nano looks off. You said you were using Chinese LED's? How high are they running?

Trying to keep softies and lps/sps is usually never a good idea. There will be chemical warfare and chances are the lps/sps will lose. I think you should decide on what you want to keep most and set the tank up for that.

Photo period. I would turn off the Leds for now and just run the t5's 8 to 10 hours a day.
Run the whites 3 to 4 hours a day and go from there.

Yeah. Your trumpet coral in the nano looks like heck. Probably too much light. Some of the Chinese LED's I have seen look silly purple up at near full power. The iPhone is super sensitive to blue light, of which I see none in your pics. If it was an iPhone, and there was no blue, definately a spectrum issue. I can't speak to an s4 though

The led on the nano is about 16 in above the water. Blues about 60%, and whites about 40%. Sound good? I also have carbon in there for the warfare. Should that work?

Also just checked my alk and calcium for the day. Alk is 7.6, calcium 440. Why does my alk drop continuously? Is that normal? Is there any hope that the trumpets would make it, or no?

Ok. That's way to much light for that tank. Step 1 I'd turn the whites down to 15% and the blues to 30%. I'll check my reef log for what I had mine set to before I switched to kessil

Think that's a huge problem in both tanks? Someone else suggested to turn the led off in the 90 too. Could it be frying my coralline as well? If everything else seems good, could that be why nothing is growing, and even the gsp grows and dies?

Ok. No more buffer crap. Mix up a jug of Randy's two part with the baked baking soda and add 5ml. And then add 5 ml, every day, at the same time for a week

I'll do that then! So is it possible that both tanks just have too much light and that's the whole problem?

Possibly but let's start small. Turn down the lights, stop the buffer, and use Randy's baked baking soda recipe. When you turned down the lights did the color shift drastically?
