I manage/head chef a restaurant myself, there is a reason I always take this week off for vacation.

Just a couple pics, I am still trying to get the setting right on my camera but I figured I would show a couple. The tank is getting close to being cycled but it still has a little ways to go. I am in the process if getting the reactor running because my skimmer wont quit foaming over and its been running for about 2 weeks now. so I am thinking it might be something in the water from the PVC cement or the coral glue I used in some areas. I also tried to get a better pic of the moon lights as well. Better pics to come when I get this thing figured out

I am absolutely loving this set up! rock work looks great, your tech choices are exactly what I would go for, and your cord and pipe lay out is godly. Well done! definitely following this build.

Thank you So I finally got the nitrite spike I have been waiting for and I swapped out my filter sock and that fixed the issue with my skimmer. It is no longer bubbling over. Getting close

Really nice/clean set up! Great idea with the angel eyes on the kessils, do you have a link on which ones you used? Also, what are you using to hold the cords on the goosenecks? I just have mine wrapped around the goosenecks but yours looks a lot cleaner. I'm subscribing, thanks!

The angel eyes are the smallest ones they offer which I believe are 40mm. If you have the 360we I think the 60mm is the size you would need. The straps I used are the wire management black velcro straps from Lowes. They were really nice to work with. As for the build I am still waiting for nitrates to fall. But in the mean time I have set up my fish closet and ordered the hardware to finish plumbing my reactor. The plan is to just run chemi pure blue in the single reactor and reserve the other outlet for a calcium reactor or bio pellets. Other then that I am pretty much just playing the waiting game atm. I will post some pics when the reactor plumbing comes in this week. Thanks for all the nice comments everyone.

Still waiting

So, I just want to give you all a quick little update. So when I was going to start this tank I had my heart set on using Bio Spira as my start up but when I went to my local store to grab some, they had stopped carrying it in favor of Seachem Seed. They swore by it so I figured I would give it a shot. After getting the cycle going, everything seemed fine as my ammonia was beginning to convert to nitrite but then it stopped there. 2 weeks into my nitrite spike I got the notion that this seachem seed wasn't all it was cracked up to be. I went on a search for Bio Spira and found a bottle. So, after being stuck in my nitrite cycle for about 2 weeks I added the product I have had much success with in past tanks and in a matter of 48 hours, my nitrites bottomed out. Moral of the story is, if you have your heart set on a product, don't settle for some alternative because its not on the shelf.
I added a pick of my nitrates before adding, then 24 after and the right side is 48 hours after adding the Bio Spira. I also ordered my refugium light the other day. I know I am a little ways off from setting that up but I figured I would get out ahead of the game. When I unbox the light I will take some pics. The items to set up my reactor came in yesterday so that should be set up tonight. We are getting close to livestock and I am pretty exited and getting impatient. lol

Nice pickup! I really wanted that light for my fuge, but I couldn't fork over the $ on it. I went with the home depot light setup! Keep us updated on the progress!

Yeah, honestly I feel like it is a bit overpriced but I want to keep things clean so I went with the eshopps. It was my top choice but I did have to pay a bit extra for it.

So It has been a bit since I last updated. I was obviously in my cycle which has lasted about 7 weeks during which time I have battled some cyno whichis just about gone now. I have added some cuc as well as my first fish which is a yellow assessor basslet. I am trying to get a good pic of him in the tank but have been unsuccessful so far. Corals and more pics coming soon.

I set my tank up about the same time as this tank is set up. I really loved the idea of the ATO container hidden like that. I copied the idea. Just wanted to say thank you for the idea.
