I have heard that if you add an air pump to your venturi intake, it will make your bubbles in your chamber more constant. I haven't tried this personally but will this weekend.

Okay I picked one of these up and thought I would give it a try..

The only problem I'm having is the micro bubbles all over my tank.. I have this on a 15 gal nano with no sump. I have all the sponges in place and the micro bubbles go right out the bottom and all over the tank.. Same problem's others have had.
It was not doing it for the first 15min's or so then while adjusting it started and cannot make it stop.. have open and closed the gate valve and still micro bubbles ever where!!

Has anyone figured it out yet??

Im Lon 2, your new skimmer will surely need time to "break in". Installing a better way (valve) to control air intake will help substantially. Mine has been running near {3} week's now, and bubble return is starting to reduce (near gone). *But that's on a 55g., not sure if they will ever reach acceptable rate in a 15g. nano*

Nope. I have it in a seperate section in my sump/refugium. It is letting out a lot of micro bubbles but it doesnt matter to me. I dont even have the sponge on there. I have a 10 gallon with three sections divided by plexi glass. 1=skimmer, 2=refugium,3=return with mag3
