I paid $20 for my doctor tang, and I now see them for $140 locally. Tangs that the LFS can't seem to identify around here go cheaper then known species.

Thanks, I was considering adding one to my 450g, read a lot on how aggressive they are, but most keep in smaller tanks. I'd like several tangs, has the clown been any trouble with the other tangs in the tank?

I haven't had a problem with my Clown. It is one of the larger tangs in the tank and pretty much keeps to itself.

I'm baaaack. Thanks for keeping this thread alive everyone, great pictures! I didn't get as many Tang shots as I would like but I did get plenty of reef shots while I was out there. I will upload all of the Tang pics I took up here still.

klasiksb, your chocolate mimic tang is beautiful. I had one along time ago for many years. He was more brown and large, but when I first got him, when he was eeny weeny, he was all yellow like that. As he got older he was more brown and dark brown around the edges and his gill area. Aww, yours made me smile. :-)

I'm glad you enjoyed the pictures. I can't wait for him to get his adult colors. This is one fish that looks good all the way through his life cycle.

Very nice, Rt6. Everybody seems to be healthy now and looks like your heading in the right direction. I cant rememember, have you always had that six line or is it a new addition?
