Maxspect Razor

I woke up this morning to find one of my 120W Razors dead - no LED display, no light output - it's worked fine for three years. The light on the power supply is green, and I verified it is OK by trying it with my 2nd Razor, so it is definitely the fixture itself. Anyone have a similar experience with troubleshooting similar symptoms?

I know there are two boards - the driver board and controller board, but not sure where the problem might lie. The LED pads look OK, and I didn't see any wiring on either board look out of place. I changed the little coin backup battery on the controller board, that didn't help any.

The frogspawn is bleaching almost looks translucent. Look to have killed a plate coral, that along with peppermint shrimp (little bastard is banned to the cube). Torch is showing same signs as the the frog. The zoa's are spreading like wildfire, however.


For new razor users I am now using the following schedule. I'll update results next month.

2:00: 0-0
11:30 0-9
4:00 40-60
5:30 60-40
9:00 15-50
11:00 0-0

I have the same problem with my 320w 15000K Razor. Did you find out what the issue was?
