I got them from Brian, a club member. I posted pictures of his tank on our club's message board yesterday in Reef Discussion, so you can see some of what he's got.

Yes, I'll probably have that up and running before the end of the year.

Hey Marc, do you like peppermint shrimp the best of all reef-safe shrimp? Just catching up here.

I think cleaner shrimp are the best reef-safe shrimp, but peppermints would be a good second. The reason I say this is because the Cleaner will be out in the open more than the Peppermint.

I'm looking for a first shrimp is why I ask. So you'd go with a cleaner as a first addition? Thanks!

I think M is excercising restraint in not discussing the podcasts here in RC because of what happened w/ QS... If you go back several pages and check out every time the show is mentioned by someone, M avoids discussing it within the thread itself. Email or PM him (as he mentioned in the last page I believe if you want to know details).. he'll respond.

any info on the new tank? you only got 25 days till the end of the year.. Not sure if you can make that deadline seeing that it took you a whole 14 days to set up the 280

At this point, it is just an idea. I'm thinking 24" wide, 16" deep (front to back) and I've still got to figure out the height. I want the front panel to be angled like the tanks ClamsDirect used to sell. It isn't a really involved project, so it shouldn't take long to build.

I've purchased some sand in a group buy, but don't know when it will arrive. However, if I only have 25 days to go, you know the tank will be up within 24 hours of that deadline.

just curious how far away from the main reef this tank will be?
I have somthing simular plumbed into my reef, its one of those acrylic "petsmart" angle front display tanks.
But, i am moving in a week or so and i dont think ill have room for it in the new place

It'll be about 6' away from the sump, but I have to go through two walls to plumb it into the sump (via a closet between the two tanks).

I'm thinking zoos, ricordia, LPS, perhaps a clam, perhaps seahorses....and the clownfish in the Clown Cube currently.

Precisely. I was hoping to make contact with it's owner, but I got no reply from the website owner. Anyone know that guy? I'd like to get some dimensions.

Melev. I talked to you the other day about red flatworms. I siphoned the ones out that i saw.

I just got home from work and found a rock semi covered in them. I'm getting ready to leave town for the weekend. The tank is not stocked except live rock, sand, and a few hermits and snails. What can I do?

I don't have much extra airline tubing, so it's hard to siphon them. I did try to get the ones i saw. I'll be getting some more airline, should I get some FWE as well?
