LOL! If one is useless having another one doesn't do much good. It costs them pennies to include an extra sensor. What we need is a better sensor.

just ordered mine....hopefully it will hold on 3/4" glass.

Steve - I see you are on the bandwagon . They had some info on glass thickness towards the beginning of the thread. The supplied magnet is not as thick as Tunze magnets.

Thanks Henry. I have some extra magnets laying around from an old 6305 I had that died on me. I'll see if that works. If not it will be perfect in my frag tank.

If not it does have a suction on the wet side too. I pulled my outside magnet off and the pump stayed put without it.

For those that have the pump if you were to divide the side of your tank into a tic -tac- toe board which quadrant are you placing the pump in? I plan on playing around with it this weekend.

the blue wire appears to be ground
