Gotta restrain myself however as I just want a simple set up with an anemone and a few clowns for the kids and maybe a few other fish and some easy peezy corals. I have already learned some good information from the few searches I have made tonight. Seems like a good group of people in this community as well.

I would like to add that it's been probably 8 years since I have owned a saltwater tank. So kind of noobish getting back into it. The basics are still there but some things have changed a little bit. I definitely need to do more reading.

Hello

Just wanted to say hi!

I have been keeping a 3g pico freshwater for about 4 years while I was in school(apartment wouldn't let me go bigger). I am finally working and in my own home so I plan to make the dive in to saltwater! Will be lurking around the forums trying to figure everything out!

Thanks,
Gridlox

Hi all, Im Chris and iv been lurking on here for about a year while I was just getting into reefing last year. My daughters 20L is turning 1 year old this x-mas and my 65g will be a year old next summer. Her tank has the majority of the corals while mine only has a couple of mushrooms, couple dozen eagle eye zoas that propagated from 3 left over on a frag plug, and a lot of pom-pom xenias. I really like those xenias. Her tank has 3 kinds of euphyllia, shrooms, 4 kinds of zoas, and a large Kenya tree to round it off.

Hi, I'm Stefan, no experience with anything saltwater, was a water keeper for a koi pond. I had very good success with that, after the learning curve kicked my ***!

That was back in England, I have emigrated to India, Goa to be specific and want to set up a reef tank for my daughter and me.

I'm posting a new thread on my prospective build, advice and tips welcome, i'm here for the long term........

I'm just starting out in saltwater aquariums. I have been doing a lot if research and threads from this site keep appearing. Seems like I should join and keep researching.

Hi my name is Sean and I'm new to saltwater tanks. Had a freshwater tank as a teenager with a few piranha. Have trying to research as much as possible and hope to learn as much as I can as this tank is for my children and I don't want to have to explain to them what has happened to there fish.

Hi everyone! I recently broke down my cichlid tank and started my first marine aquarium. I've been lurking here for the past few months and now have an up and running tank.

Hey peeps. I'm Riley. and I wanted to introduce myself here. I have just started adding to my 75 with 29 tank. I'm using sunlight for heat right now because i've cycled for 2 weeks and nothing added yet but a couple damsels. will the sun light be a problem after a while? I like it's look. soooo Bright and not fake.

Another newbie here with an LED Biocube 32 for Christmas (did early gift exchange).

In the planning/researching stage now. Will be a coral and fish mix, almost entirely soft corals because I don't want to mess with changing the stock lights.

Hello everyone, Per from Sweden here.
I'm a total newbie at aquaruims but been researching on and off for a while now.
My plan is to start a 15 gallon nano with sump.
Marco rocks, siporax, Mame overflow, MP10, diy led lighting, "bacteria driven" nutrient export, and so on...

Hello, I'm Nick, and I'm returning to the hobby after many years of being out. I found the old login info for this account so I just fired it back up. I've been gone for so long and things have changed again from when I last did it, I figured I am a newbie again so I'll be learning all over as well.

I picked up a 90gal RR tank so its official I'm starting back up!

New here.

Is there an appropriate place to post one's planned build for feedback? And then maybe publicly share its progress?

Thanks!

Thumbs up Hellooo

New to the salt water community. I have been keeping a planted freshwater tank for about 6 years. I have been lurking on this forum and others for about a year contemplating the commitment of a salt water tank. Just found a used 110 aquarium for a price I couldn't resist. And so it begins...

Hello!

Just got a new 65 gallon tank and have been researching obsessively. Going to run my plans by the experts here, and hopefully they will keep me from doing anything monumentally stupid. Excited to get into reefing!
