Grubes gorgonian is an Indo-Pacific species of photosynthetic gorgonian (pinnigorgia flava) Hallzo has a perfect example of a Grubes from his post on page 1 of this thread: Anyhoo....remember you were telling me Big Al's Barrie had the Sparkling Blue Cespitularia I was looking for? Turns out it was the same Purple Cespitularia everyone mixes up for the Blue Cespitularia LOL! I was so disappointed that I wasted gas driving all the way up there, but at least I didn't hit any traffic jams on the 400! .....Oh well. Good news is found the true Sparkling Blue Cespit from another source so i'm happy

Thanks. It is in the process of "having a baby" right now. It will be the second one in a year.

This was my first serious reef tank, freshman year of highschool 2001. I had the colt coral on the left side ever since my first nano I got when I was 12.

Our purple sea whip gorgonian. Eats phyto, fun to watch in the breeze. My personal favorite softy thus far.

Here's a shot of the whole tank. Aside from the gorgonion it's all soft coral. Have some plays and zoos hiding. And my gsp isn't out today I stressed it yesterday moving things around a bit.
