I got a broken skimmer in the mail last friday...ordered weldon and some gasket material on friday night online.....Its was waiting on me when I got home on monday.....wicked fast and cheap shipping!!!!

i'm new to posting on here and i just saw the DIY suppier list.... i am building a 400 gallon plywwod tank and found a really good price on acrylic sheets. my 96"x48" sheet of 3/4 acrylic was $271. A&C plastics houston texas. www.acplasticsinc.com

The search feature isnt working at the moment, and I'm fairly impatient... so I apologize if this has been covered already.

I'm looking to DIY my foam filter elements for a Fluval 305... any online suppliers that make this stuff in the same density as the Fluval standard foam inserts? I'm even thinking of looking around at Home Depot for any material that would work.

Any and all info is greatly appreciated. :-)

I buy my filter material at walmart in the fabric section. Its pillow material but its square and in different thickness. just cut to size.
