I love it.
Who would of though I would get a nice wave with only one vortech. This thing is awesome. I'm running it in reef crest random mode full blast on my 76g I'll try to find a place to put a video. |

Come on Barry...a little sand won't hurt anything. And besides, it will help keep the glass clean!

Very cool I do like the pulse mode.
I don't know which I like better though. Because I like the long(couple seconds) calm period of 300gph. I'll have to try each for a couple days and see if I notice any reaction. |

my water is moving in unison like with a wave box but better
pulse mode is great when you only have one pump in a small tank

Here you go some rather large video's one reef crest mode and one pulse mode.
Pulse Mode Reef Crest Mode Don't mind the mess the Green goni is doing much better now that I'm not burning him under direct M/H He took it really badly but he's coming back now in a more shady part of the tank. Took long enough I had to rip them down because comcast only gives me 26 megs Enjoy |

great vids oliver you have to dial in the pulse to get it to rock the water back and fourth
in my tank there is giant surge/wave the water in the tank is literally moving back and fourth like the ocean its really amazing.

Thanks! I'm sure I'll be playing around for a while with all of the settings. I haven't even tried lagoon mode. I probably wont though because I would image it's weaker.
I can't wait to see if the random movement has any affect on the corals. A friend of mine has 2 on his 210g I can't wait to see more then one vortech working in sync. I'm actually surprised how easy it is to set. When I first saw pics of the controller and leds I thought it would be more complex to go through the different modes. |

That's going to be insane 4 running together to create a nice random flow.
I may actually get a second one myself just to create an alternating flow. It's funny the vortech isn't even noticeable in the videos. It's mid way on the right of my tank. |

Nice wave!
I wonder if the random pump movement will have any affect on the pumps life? It seems to be a gentle enough transition so I guess only time will tell. |
