Let me know about the RBT. I have been looking for one.

I think that will help your tank's look. I have always felt the left side was a little flat. Let me know if you need any help.

I agree, Its a combination of 2 things that are causing it. The RBT and the space it needs and the wave box. I just need to get some more rock and fix it. I would love to do a shelf if I can find the right kind of rock.

I may take you up on your offer Gabe. Ill be ordering the rock this week. Think Im going to get about 100 lbs of Eco Roxs

aaron have you bought any corals from any of the LFS' here? i picked up some of those same flatworms from a local shop here, luckily they didnt cause a problem for me. i told one of the employees there and he had a look around in the tank i got the coral from and told me he found a few in there.

the ones you have appear to be the same red or brown flatworms that i had. i was freakin' out when i found them! i put some pics up in my thread and marc assured me that they were harmless and more of an unsightly pest than anything else. i was litterally able to suck them off my corals with a turkey baster. that was months ago and i havent seen any since. good luck getting rid of them, it probably wont be that hard?

The Red and brown Planaria arent the big of deal if you dip your corals. They come right off. Hardest part is if they are just on your rock.

ill admitt it, i dont dip lucky for me i cought them within a couple of days so i was easily able to suck 'em off the coral with no problems. i probably woulda been pretty irritated if i found out they were in my rocks. have you had to do any FWE treatments before this incident aaron?

Yes I have done FWE treatments in the past, I did it about 16 months ago and only did it once, I started noticing them back again about 2 months ago. This time Im doing a higher level treatment and am going to do a follow up treatment a week later.

I was going to do a treatment today but the grocery store did not have any rubber bands and I want to frag some of those rics.
Plan is to take out the Rics and dip them first. This will get the flatworms out of the rics. Then I will do a full treatment with FWE.
Im probably going to do this mid week now.

well good luck with the treatment. hopefully you'll be able to kill 'em all this time? i know what a drag "whole tank" treatments can be! not too long ago i had to treat all my zoanthid colonies with bi-furan becasue of some zoa-pox. i lost 3 colonies during that little event. i wasnt able to treat the tank though, i actually had to set up an entirly new tank for that headache! oh well, now i know better than to not quarantine. although im sure it'll happen again?

and did i read that right, fragging some rics ay??? let me know if your actually trying to "dispose" of them i have a few things ive been trying to trade for some time now if your game? cmannings purple monti cap, greenmakos pipe organ and some GSP i got from RCA. ide recommend against the GSP though, there's no sense in ruining a perfectly good tank!

your welcome to any of it if you'd like though. as a matter of fact for you any of it would be free. i havent forgotten where my fist zoa colony came from

I can't believe you are going to rip up your reef to put in that rock. Oh well, when you have the ability to make stuff grow just by winking and nodding your head, I guess you have to do something else to feel entertained and involved.

LOL kinda a funny question because I mess with the bulb combinations all the time. I have been using from left to right
Radium 20k, Aqua Connect 14k, Reeflux 12k

I am going all Radium 20k next time around I really like there look and the color I get from them. Im not happy with the Reeflux or Aqua Connects right now.

Im really not ripping that much. Im taking out one of the larger rocks but the others are just getting moved. I am getting rid of 3 large milli colonies because of there tabling and rate of growth.

Is the neon green coral in this picture a Suharsonoi or the ORA Phil's Granulosa?
