that fish is much prettier than a zoa. fwiw my blue face from page 2 is getting better with acans and no longer nips at anything else as I learn to feed it better. good articl in another online mag about angels eating corals, and in their opinion it is the missing nutrients as maxx hinted at that cause the real problem.

Not sure what your doing wrong, but just copy the "Use this in img tag:" at the bottom of your picture in your gallery, they use the IMG button when your posting your picture to paste your image tag into.

Got a link to the article?

I agree, he is much prettier than my zoas, but they were my first coral and have grown very well for me.

Maybe I will adjust his diet, adding angel flake/frozen, and see what happens.

Thanks for the help!

Robb how do you get great shots like that. What setting on camera do you use. Ive got a nice camera but pics always are a bit blurry.

Nick thanks for the comments. I know I could do it unfortunately my tank is in my master bedroom(which is cool)and its a inwall threw to the bathroom. Barely had room to do a sump. If I took up anymore room for stuff in our walkin closet my wife may say your out of luck.

Manual mode is your friend. And practice. Believe me, I throw a ton of pics away.

I took 10-12 today of the dogs and all of them were junk.

Hi Markus,
Im in the process of upgrading to a 300g.
They all started out small. I have 13 fish in the 150g.
It has been up and running for 2 years and all is well.

S/B in 300g by Feb.

Thanks Floyd

Hello Floyd,

300g will be way to small as well...
I am taking care of a 600g tank where I have a Naso vlamingii and an imperator (it was not me who put them in the tank) - and this is at the lower end for them..
I guess you need at least 800 - and I stil believe this is not sufficient - for this special fish... - as he gets arround 20 inches

regards

Markus

Markus I think you are way to unrealistic with your tank sizes and fish.

This is a matter of opinion. Each hobbist can decide this on their own. That is not the intent of the thread. It is to show off pictures of beautiful angels. If you would like to discuss tank sizes for angels, start a new thread. Thanks!

Thanks for the support, I think the 300g will be more than sufficient.
Considering he is 4x bigger 2 years later.

YE||0W TA|\|G nice flame mine is getting old and coloring iis fading.
