The bubbles should slow down some in a little break in time. Both of those new cones fill the body with air so well its hard not to have some micro bubbles leaving the exit. You can always lower your sump water height and this will help.

I'm in the club!!! Pre-ordered at RF this week. I'll be replacing an Octopus NW200 that i did a bunch of mods too. I'm just looking for a smaller footprint, and more efficient skimmer. This thing is rated at half the wattage my Octopus is running at.

Just talked to Luke and he told me the shipment just cleared customs, but he still hopes to have these skimmers by the end of this week.

Just ordered my 160 today, after comparing apples and oranges it seemed like the best performing skimmer in it's price range.

The noise level is what I would consider to be very quiet. Not silent, but almost.

I would say it is less than your video, but it is hard to tell. It's pretty quiet, just a low hum.

I was impatient and sent Luke a Saturday delivery label, so I will have some pics to post tomorrow. I am upgrading from a Remora pro and can't wait to see what a real skimmer can do.

Lol atleast you're upgrading from a Remora Pro...I'm upgrading from a standard Remora...But in all honesty, my Remora pulls some nasty nog.
