Tank is coming along nicely. I wish I had a MP10. I run a modded MJ600 and 2 K2's. It gives good flow. I would add 2 more t5s if you plan to keep sps, JMO. I have a 250w MH over my 40B. I like the lay out of this tank, best smaller tank IMO. I had a 55g before did not like it, hard so scape and narrow. Pics of my 40B sps tank.

I would be interested to see some updates aswell, especially to see if you chose to stick with that light, and are happy with it, or move to something else

1. Why did you choose fiberglass rods?

3. How rigid is the fiberglass rod? Is it like a fishing pole type rigidity?
