I swear I have seen that on another forum and basically plan to copy the entire build haha ! The aqua-roche rocks are wicked. I plan on doing something very similiar only barebottom. In a 24" cube the cadlights seems to not be able to be beat on price right now and Eddie is great. Thanks for the pic!

Garage, Thanks!
Ycore, NICE setup! Can you post some pics of your mounting hardware & specifically, how you attached the Maxspect unit. |

Wow! Nice growth. I can't get anywhere near that type of growth under my T5s. I just wish the tank mount went left to right instead of front to back.

Ycore. I understand. I ordered the G2-160w because I wanted to have it elevated from the tank(almost exactly the way yours is setup, yours looks very nice) and still be able to keep SPS in the lower half of the tank. Ok yeah, I plan on getting an Elos Mini.

oops! I should have looked. Sorry. 400 total watts of LEDs for a 80g tank! That's impressive. How do you like the 180W? I understand it only has 4x30W white + 14x 3W blue + 4x 3W violet and no 3W white. The 30W LEDs should give you good penetration for your bottom corals. How do you like the color?

Can anyone confirm or have ideas to make the tank mounting rails go from this...
to this... Mounting the fixture front to back is not an option nor is hanging it. My tank opening is 24 long by about 16 deep and there are parts of the filtration in the rear that would interfere with the rails if mounted front to back. I am looking for a more typical tank mounting bracket like you would find on a TEK or Aquatic Life. |
