Your pencil urchin is from the Western Atlantic, right? It will eat your xenia (mine did) and likely has the power to do damage to the tank itself.

anybody have some thoughts on a cool new coral to get? somethin out of the norm but not extremely difficult to maintain? or maybe just something that people dont always notice, and you think is spectacular? my coral list depends on you, people!

These are the mr16's that I have seen a few edge owners use. They work great for coral.

Once the insides of the crab are digested, the anemone should barf up the exoskeleton. This happened to a friend when a shrimp fell off a rock into his anemone.

thats exactly what happened! for a second, i thought the crab somehow managed to escape, as he was right side up on the sand. closer examination proved otherwise, haha.

Don't get the heatsink though, just get the 7.28x4" from heatsink USA as that's basically the one nano tuners is using, fits on the lip or in the hood.

I just ordered mine, so will be building shortly.

8 Cree xre's 4/4 royal blue / white will be pushing 10-12k easy. Good thing dimmable!

Way Cheaper!

MR11 kind of growing zoas like 1/2 open most days. MR16, little better still spotty though. Hoping this solution decimates!

I feel bad for those two clowns. I only have a pair of clowns in my 33 gallon cube and I feel like its crowded. Couldn't imagine a 6 gallon. Best of luck though mate

I'm not worried about nitrates, just their lack of space.

Clowns need a decent amount of swimming room or else they get stressed. But hey if you want to keep them, somebody's gotta break the mold someday right? Just keep them on close observation, record any odd behavior
and keep up with the water changes.
