after make that 'desk' to my office, I started to work on tank stand. As I said previously it will be in iron - it's heavy, over engineered, could handle two cars on it, wouldn't have it any other way - we're talking about 2" x 2" x 1/8" thickness.

how much did you pay for the ferrari??
i bet that thing was expensive, but it should be fire red with a black stallion emblem! looks good. cant wait for more pictures and updates!

I built the stand on my backyard, so bring it inside the home-office room was a PITA
![]() I used this products to paint the stand, from the left: this first product prevents rust - three coats, in the middle is the primer - just one coat, the third is an automotive tint - 3 coats and the last one is a solvent for tint: ![]() first coat - rust protection: ![]()

so, in the right corner you can see the electric outlets:

I love the dining table with the emphasis on actually looking at the tank. So many builds I see treat the tank like a picture frame in an odd wall in the room that people walk past but never spend any time looking at. Great set-up!

Good news, yesterday I bought a good RO/DI system and almost forgot to tell you. I talked with Jim from The Filter Guys - www.thefilterguys.biz and we decided about a SIX STAGE RO/DI system plus one 'pre-stage' ![]() The choice was a water saver model (think green ![]() Results: 65 PSI ENTERING FIRST MEMBRANE
