Lee is a great friend to say the least. His building skills and attention to details are second to none.

Thank you for the compliment. This has been a lot of fun for me. Initially he did a brief sketch that took him about 10 minutes to do. However, he decided against that sketch and just winged it. It was so cool to watch him stand there and think for a few minutes, then decide what he wanted to do.

I don't have anymore as of yet. I have to catch up on my Microbology homework today, and I have quite a bit to do. I am going to try and get some tank water into the temp tank today and get it up and running. I may also try and get the poly coat done as well. This all may be a bit ambitious on my part as Denver and New England play today.

Ok, I put a about 20 gallons of tank water in the holding tank, pulse about 30 gallons of fresh salt water. The skimmer is blowing mircrobubbles like crazy, but I imagine that will stop in a few days. The heater is bringing the temperature up nicely. I have hooked up my Apex to run tests on the tank, and am pleased with it so far. Also, it is controlling the Vortech in my other tank.

Enjoy the pictures.

Forgive the spaghetti mess, this is only temporary as I am testing the system on this tank. Well, and the football game is on so I gave up.

Just a little update, I am about finished with the stand. I have one coat of poly left and will be done. I got my Foscam installed and running on my Apex. That is pretty cool. I can tell that my Apex is one of the best purchases I have ever made for my tank.

Here are a few shots of the temporary holding tank, while my cube gets ready to go. Enjoy.

Here is my pair of breeding Snowflakes. I think they will probably quit breeding for a while until they get used to being in their new home. I love these little guys and hope some day to raise their fry.

Ok, I will try and get some new pictures up this week. I start my new job as an ER nurse tomorrow, and school keeps me busy as well. I want you to see my simplistic plumbing with one manifold for my reactor. I think it works pretty well. My wet test went very well and things seem to be working very well. I am proud of the weir I built, it skimms a very thin layer off off the top of the water and should pull all of the protein off the surface very well. My herbi drain is working well and is silent too!

I now have saltwater, and my rock in the tank cycling. I threw some pellet food in the tank to boost things a bit for the bacteria and am glad to report that I have 0.5 ammonia levels today.

On another note, I got my invite to Apex Fusion and am liking it so far. I am a total Apex newbie and am excited that I was chosen for the beta.

Ok, here is another brief update on my tank. The plumbing is done, so here are a few pictures.

Here is the manifold with and drains. I have the ability to run my BRS Deluxe carbon/GFO reactor that I will install soon.

This is a picture of the entire sump, and manifold. I have to clean things up a bit, and get that darn reactor installed on the wall as well.

This little beauty came today. It's a Reeffanatic regulator and solenoid valve.

This little baby is my Valentine's day present from wifey poo. A GEO CR-510 calcium reactor, which will be here Monday.

Quick shot of the stand. I have to finish the doors, and install the lighting inside of the stand.

More plumbing, and of course the tank, and aquascape.

Side shot

I have to finish my shelves as well.

If you ever had any reservations about the SCA line of skimmers, don't. I purchased one for my new tank, and have it set up on the holding tank for now. All I can say is this thing skimms like a beast. This is one and a half days of skimmate. It's nasty!

A few pics of my corals fragged from my 110, as they sit in the holding tank for now.

That's it for now. I doubt I will be able to get any work done on the tank this weekend due to the ton of homework I have. I also have two of my sons birthday parties. One turns 14, and the other 2.

Ok, here is another update. I have been slowly getting things installed. I have to clean my wiring up, and get my corals placed but you get the idea.

Spaghetti mess for now

Snowflakes and their anemone

Hammer

Pagoda, I think? Exact ID would be helpful.

Red Acro in the center and bluish sps next to it.

Frags-n-Stuff
