A good point indeed but needs an adjustment. ER leaving the sponsors boards means everybody loses, including whoever started the "I'm just here to *****" thread -- now there's one less place to *****.
Great. I'm sure ER will remain a sponsor, this is a good place to advertise -- it hits the target audience (advanced reefers willing to spend big bucks on a skimmer) dead on. It doesn't matter to me anyway, my personal experience is that ER makes a skimmer with outstanding performance, outstanding quality, and excellent service at a fair price. That's all I need to know.

I am sure the = ASM size will do a similar job to ER.
I build my own tanks and the difference between cast and extruded acrylic is huge. Perhaps for a cylinder it does not matter much, but I sure feel safer knowing I have cast running on my ER units. |

I have the "new" ER model and it's a basic bayonette fitting -- only takes 1/4 turn of the collection to cup to seat it. I don't do that anyway -- the weight of the collection cup itself is enough to seal it.
It's beefy, just like everything else on the thing.
