Are you going to run the T-5's the same time as the MH, the go to bulb is the Phoniex 14K that is what I got and was bummed because it was too yellow. So if you get that bulb I would get all Blue +'s.

I have 6” spectra and was considering a 6” aurora. 225 gal SPS dominates, what’s the verdict on those fixtures?

Spectra's are wired up to come with external ballast boxes regardless if being sold in Europe or North America. When bought direct from Giesemann it will come with a 230v ballast just for the MH's because Europe no longer mfg's 120v MH ballasts. So to run something that requires 230v but you only have 120v from your wall outlet you would use what's called a 'step-up / step-down transformer or converter, it's a voltage booster or regulator. |

I've got 36 wide x 18 wide x 21 deep, mixed reef tank with a couple of SPS. Does anyone think that a 250 watt 24" Infiniti would get me the spread that I need to cover the tank or will it will be too small.

For a 30 inch deep tank am I better of with 250w or 400w 20k radiums?
Also, with the spectra, how muted is the shimmer? Do they T5s lessen the shimmer alot or just a little? |

Vervve owner here, they're still in the box until I can locate a par meter. Unless another vervve owner wants to share some insights on height and intensity?

Im thinking of putting my Vervve led`s in a stellar fixture to combat shading.
I have a 1.2M (48 inch)Tank (reefer xl425) but im not sure which fixture to get. the 1200mm (48 inch) or the 900 mm (36 inch) |

Anyone in US doing Geissemann troubleshooting or repair? I have a Geissemann Matrix II Dimtec with 8 T5's. I plugged it in, there is power to everything, but it won't light up. All 8 T5 does not light up and neither does the fans on top. So I don't think it is the ballasts. I'm thinking it is the boards as the fans doesn't turn on either, but not sure how to test it to see if is as there are no literature. Any Geissemann reps on this site?
Am I missing something very simple to try?
