In my quest to find a male and female McCosker's Wrasse I got a male and what I believe is a subadult just transitioning from female. They're in QT together, is safe to try them together long term in a 3 ft long 65g with other peaceful fish? Would adding a true female help, hurt or make any difference?

Firefish Mated pair of Percs YWG w/ pistol shrimp 1 female red-lined 1 tiny red spot cardinal 2 skunk cleaner shrimp 1 peppermint shrimp (and zero aiptasia) I'm not entirely convinced the new McCosker's isn't a female. She, it, whatever is in QT with a male and they are fine so far. The male has made a few minor charges after the other one but no contact and doesn't pursue it. This is the fish in question, it was sold as a female. [IMG][/IMG] |

Looking for non-jerk fish
Howdy folks!
So I have been planning a 92 gallon corner tank for close to 2 years now, I have held off b/c I don't want to set it up until I replace all the carpet in the house. Long story short I have a 40 gallon cube hanging around and I've got the itch. I figure I will set it up with a few friendlies for my future tank. I only want to put fish in this one that won't be aggressive to others when I make the move to the big tank. All my research says these guys are peaceful, but I want to hear some personal experiences to back up my research. clown goby firefish diamond watchman goby tailspot blenny zebra dartfish royal gramma let me know what you think, Thanks! |

For an accurate answer, I would need the entire stocking list. However, since scooter blennies are dragonets (Synchiropus ocellatus) rather than a blenny it would be difficult to maintain since they are copepod eaters and your tank is very small.

Of the fish below which could I do multiples of in regard to keeping more than 1 of the same just in general theory?
clown gobies (yellow , green, ctiron) - can I have 1 of each color? or will they fight? firefish - I think will be okay diamond watchman goby - I think only bonded pairs can go together, but would he have a problem with another type of goby like a prawn goby? tailspot blenny -? zebra dartfish - I think will be okay royal gramma - I don't think so 92 gallon corner tank Last edited by KCD1803; 10/21/2014 at 10:09 PM. |

Current fish in a 180 DT
Matted File, Lubbocks Wrasse, Yellow Tang, Kole Tang, Powder Blue Tang, Bellus Angel, Bi Color Dotty Back, Purple Dotty Back, 2 Ocellaris Clownfish. Think of a Spot Breast Angel and another Tang (either a Naso or Clown).

Hi,
I have a 36x24x20 (75G), primarily SPS tank and I am trying to increase my fish load to increase nutrients in the tank. I would also like one or two fish to graze algae. Here is my current fish load... 2 Percula Clowns (mated) (They can also be aggressive with some fish.) yellow assessor (mainly hides in rocks) possum wrasse (mainly hides in rocks) Kaudern's Cardinal Flasher Wrasse Neon Goby I am considering a Lawnmower Blenny and then maybe also a dwarf angel like a Potters, Flame or Coral Beauty. Or I could add one of the above and then another wrasse as I like that it is out in the tank more than the other fish. (Clowns are in open as well but most of my fish hide during the day.) Thanks for your thoughts/recommendations.
