For some reason these corals/fishes look so much more beautiful knowing you hand picked them from the reefs personally

I'm setting up several tanks that look to be similar dimentions to the one pictured. I'd like to know more about what you did for flow on the system.

Flow wasn't that much at all. Main return was a Eheim 1262.
Internal circulation was via a Koralia Hydor nano and a larger one (model escapes me atm).

Subsequently upgraded to a Vortech MP20 and now downsizing to a MP10.

That was an acrylic tank tank which has been decommissioned and replaced with a glass tank of the same dimensions.

Time to post some pics of the other place that we frequent.

Only really accessible at certain tides due to a channel that runs through it.

Nice acros.

As you can see there are a lot more colourful acros and structures.

Access (from first photo) is literally straight off the beach. Approx. 800m walk but in the heat of the day. It is hard work.

Especially coming buck with buckets full of LR and corals with water.

Yes. Most of the clowns are Rubros. Ugly suckers when they get large and very aggressive.

Also goes to show how hardy the corals are as well. Water temp in some of the pools are very high and some of the corals can be exposed for up to an hour or two.
