Hey guys-- the inevitable has happened... I have NO time for RC. I will try to pop in as much as I reasonably can and give updates, but I will definitely have minimal time to do so.
Organic Chemistry is going to kick my arse and I need to devote every spare moment to succeeding in the course.. I won't even pretend that I can excel. Just a B will floor me! ...not to mention the 3 other classes I'm taking and OChem lab. That's another monster I am not going to do well with. Can you tell I'm not a Chemistry person? Bio all the way! I'm stealing a moment before my History lecture begins... My nem is still behind the rocks. No powerhead collisions while I was in Syracuse, thank God! The tank is going to hopefully get another WC this weekend. I will not have the time to do it weekly, so I will aim for bi-weekly, if all goes well... I think the doors are about to open, so toodles, folks! And Rae is absolutely correct. I am much too modest to accept your hard earned funds. I will scrape by, I always do-- I'm a scrappy 'ol girl.

We will miss you! Study hard, you can do it!!! Except B's.....take it from me who is making the same amount of money as the RN next to me, I was an A student, and killed myself to do that, I made myself sick to get A's, and it gets you no more than something to talk about with peers when drinking beer at parties. WHO CARES, you will be successful, smart, and will someday rule the world. GO GIRL! Just remember there are way more impotant things than grades. Like sanity, and fun!!!

I said something about this awhile ago, but O Chem is finally where chemistry made sense to me. Everything just fell into place and it turned out to be an easy and entertaining class (Teacher told us how to make cocaine from household supplies....).
Have fun with class, just try not to stress out!

Schmeejay old boy, why do you keep calling ne kiddo as though you are considerably older than me?
Thanks everyone for your support. I really appreciate it. OChem scares the crap out of me, but I hope that I can muster up the brain cells to "get it." I hope that it will click for me like it did for you, Taqpol. Pray for my tank that I keep up with maint, too!

Hey folks,
I'm taking the day to try and catch up on RC. The tank is doing well, it looks like I have finally won the "fuzz" war! The nem is sitting back behind the clam again, and has stayed there for a few days. It looks like that is where she might settle. My clowns play in it, but still haven't committed to moving in. All corals are doing well, a few of the polyps of my favia are getting a second mouth and getting ready to split/grow. My shroom/yuma rock is super-prolific. There are babies all over it! All fish are doing well, coralline is taking off on the back glass and along the sand on the front pane. The toadstool is actually looking like a toadstool now. Also, the digitata is really growing well, too. Big zoa rock, and the Potter's picking at the rocks. A snail going to town Male Anthias The pair. My camera's white balance settings were all off... this picture does them no justice. Zoa garden Shot from the side Chaeto is growing like a champ, too

Very nice! That's so awesome. Kind of a nice reassurance. This seems to be what keeps us in the hobby!

Hey folks... I'm pretty sure my yuma and mushroom on the same rock are bleaching. The blue mushroom almost underneath the rock has great color... Perhaps the lighting in my tank is too much?
This is what they looked like a month ago when they were added. And today: The Yuma has sprouted a ton of babies (as you can see in the picture), so it can't be THAT sick, but I worry about how bleached it looks. Should I move it to a shady spot?

Sure, give it a shadier spot and see how it does after a week. Usually they like light, but it may be getting nuked with your T5 lighting.
