It will work with the RKE or RKL. Just get a wall wart for the voltage of your relay coil. Common voltages are 5, 9, 12 & 24 volts. There are other voltage available if you check around.

The manual can be found online at http://digitalaquatics.com/downloads...rchon_Rev3.pdf After the set up is complete, you should be able to access the controller from a web browser on any device that is connected to your home network.

I/O Ports
I have not used my I/O ports as of yet. The switchs I have are ran through the old SL 1 carried over from my RKE system.
Am I correct in thinking that to use the I/O Port on Archon I would splice my switch wire into a data cord that will plug into the Archon Port? Using Pin 1 to 4 for two switches? From manual; PLUG 2 (BOTTOM): Pin 1 = Ground Pin 2 = SW1 input Pin 3 = Ground Pin 4 = SW2 input Pin 5 = Ground Pin 6 = PWM2 + Pin 7 = Ground Pin 8 = VOUT4 (0-10V+) What would pin 5 to 7 before?

Pins 5&6 are a PWM output. I use them to control my LED lighting. This output can directly drive Meanwell LDD dirvers. Pins 7&8 are a 0-10 volt output. This can be used to control anything that requires a 0-10 volt control signal. This is some types of lighting and pumps. |

I'm having the same new network issue as shellsea in post #1300. What did you do to resolve?

I checked post 1300 it was not mine but was about reconnecting Archon to my new modem. Is that your scenario?

If you changed modems. What I did was setup the new modem with the same name login key as my old modem. I also setup the same reserved addresses for the same devices on the modem. Everthing logged in without issue like it was the same modem.

Figured this out. I unplugged it to power cycle and forgot to scan/fix the drive.

I did some wire management over the weekend and relocated my Archon. I used the "Shut Down" button on the System Page and then the "Restart" button after I plugged everything back in and it worked like a charm.

My updated didn't go so well...
Unfortunately, I didn't have such luck with my update. After i updated the system, updated the webpage, and restarted my Archon I could no longer login. I could get to the password screen but my password no longer worked, along with the default password (and every other possible combination). I checked the AccessList.txt file on the flashDrive and it did have the correct UN and PW.
After a LOT of playing around and testing old files on a different drive it appears my Flash drive became corrupt. I was able to get all of the files off of it other then the logs. Once I had everything moved over to a new flash drive AND I replaced the accessList.txt file with an older version i was able to get back into the Archon again. Everything appears to be running fine now. I really thought I was past spending hours on getting this thing to work.. I could blame it on the flash drive but these things should not burn out like this. |

Except for losing my Home Page settings, my upgrade seemed to go smoothly. Now, I've noticed a problem that may be related to the update. I believe that I did the upgrade on or about October 8. Now, whenever I restart my controller, I lose all plot data back to 10/8! That is, I now have temp/ORP/pH data going all the way back to July going up to 10/8. Then, it's flat-lined until it restarts a couple of days ago when I did the most recent restart. Same deal back on 10/15 when I restarted it.
In summary, the controller seems to be properly logging data, but upon restart, all data after 10/8 is lost. Does anybody else have this problem? -Phil

Sorry, I have not restarted since I updated the software at 1325 hours ago. It sounds like it is an issue with the memory stick since all the graphing data is kept there. The controller will continue to work if the memory stick is pulled but there won't be graphing data for the time the memry is pulled. All the other files are copied to the system on bootup each time you restart. You can try pulling the memory stick and check it for errors on your computer.
