Are you in high efficiency or high output mode?
Your tank is not very deep...

I don't think you'll have ANY regrets other than "I wish I would have done it sooner"

Is there something that shows the equivalent settings for High Efficiency vs. High Output?

For instance 80% High Efficiency = 60% High Output...

(those numbers are an example and I just pulled them out the closest orifice)

That's a good question Anim. We should ask in the German forum.

So I need to figure out what is going on.
I tested my par and with the light set to high output, at the waters surface it was 250
I'm pretty sure that is low

Yeah... something is not right.

Here is what I don't understand... here is my graph:

And some of those peaks should be reading 100%

Some of them are. I don't think they all have to be.

My understanding of the Mitras output percentages is that the graphs will show the percentage of the percentage that is set at the lights themselves.

ie, If the light itself is set to 50%, and the graph is also set to 50%, then the overall output will be 50% of 50%...= 25% nett.

If you set all lights at 100%, then the graphical output of 50% will be actual. ie 50% of 100% =50%nett.

You must set the lights percentage individually at the light unit itself.

If I understand you correctly :Mitras set for 50% on HO
Blue set for 50% at 8pm = total blue on the output is 25%?

My lights are currently set to 100% High Output on the lights.
From 10 to 7 the different color temps are set to 100%, so the graph should show 100% instead of the peaks... unless I am misunderstanding the settings.

If you are using the colour temp pallet in setting up each light point, then it is not likely that you will see 100% on your graph.

If you want to see 100% on the graph then you should mix the individual points "by hand"...increase or decrease each LED colour untill you get the 100% you want...but the colour may well be nowhere near what you are aiming for.

Colour temp drives its own unique percentage. Manual mixing gives you the variable percentage output. (Push each LED colour slider for each graph point to 100%)

I have the Mitras 6100HV for 6 months. One thing i am still confused, i have to set to high output power (over 70% output) low intensity (under 70% brightness) or in low output power (under 70% output) high intensity (over 70% brightness) .

I found that different programs give very different PAR ratings. I'm shooting for 70 percent at high output at max. I'll dial it up as par drops from the fixtures wearing out. Par meter comes in handy here.
