I don't have a geisemann fixture but just switched from 4 t5 true lumen bulbs to 4 t5 48" geisemann bulbs and I LOVE them. the difference is unbelievable. I love the way they look but the difference it has made for my corals colors is great. I went with two actinic plus one 15000k blue plus and one pink plus. I couldn't be happier. one day ill have the extra income to buy one of their fixtures but until then ill never use a bulb not made by geisemann

Yep, 24" Spectra with a Lumatek ballast and 400 watt Radium. Pretty happy with it. Although my next tank will be much larger and will consider T5/Led hybrid.

How do you like them so far? I'm looking at an Infiniti but not sure if I'm going with the 150 or 250 watt bulb. Probably 150

It is a great light the T-5 are powerful enough for just softies, for a shallow tank 20 and under I believe that a 150 is enough. I will try my hand at SPS this time a round.

Get the 250. You'll regret the 150 quickly.

I use my 250 infiniti over an SPS dominated tank. Amazing fixture.

Yeah Sorry LOL no spell check at work, plus stupid brain. I also have a Maristar dual 250 DE with 4 T-5's, so maybe I will try your combo with the T-5s but will have to go with Phoenix 14 K's.
Did you buy the light new? I bought a used Infinity 24'' model.

If you are running 14k I would only run one purple plus and the rest blue. Yes, I got the fixture from a friend who was getting out.

You know what would have made the Spectra even better removing the 4 T-5's and installing 2 VHO's 454 that would have made it the mack daddy.
I have 6 new bulbs to chose from 3 blue +'s 1 Purple + and 1 Coral +.
How long is the light? Have you looked into BML for that Actinic pop?

I actually like the option of 4 t5s because of the color options. The fixture is 48" and I actually have a truelumen blue LED strip sitting on top of the tank.
