I sold my clam to a member on this forum but unfortunately I forgot who it was. Anyway, it was one of my favorite clams ever but I was moving to Japan to live for a year so I had to take down my whole reef. I'm not in the reefing hobby right now cuz of the realities of life are catching up, but I can't wait to start up the hobby again when I get settled down. Also, I have to say that the experience I had in Japan were amazing. The quality of livestock they had was unbelievable. Makes me wonder why we can't get anything like that over here. I mean, they cost about double but I would pay that much for a top specimen.

Well I'll add a bad pic of my new black and white maxima.
It is a bad pic, I literally took 58 pic's of this clam tonite and this is the best I could get. |

Nice clams everyone. Keep them coming.
Here's a picture of a recent find. Much larger than my previous teardrop at almost 6".

That's a heck of collection. I see you primarily like T. maxima like I do.

Waiting for some better clams??? They dont get much better than that. Very nice and thanks for adding them. How many clams do you have and how big is your tank?
Just curious, are you wonder over on reef frontiers too? |

4' x 3' x 18" (estimated to be only 125 gal) 19 clams but 11 are really small. just hope that at least half of the smaller ones can make it. 1 of my smallest clam just dead even with decent growth you have great collection too |
